Service Fees

Counselling Services
  • Session fees are payable at the time of the booked appointment.
  • Clients need to verify direct billing or reimbursement for paid services with their insurance carrier PRIOR to the first session.
  • Payment for private counselling/psychological services are not covered under Alberta Health Care, however, counselling services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.
  • Clients are encouraged to check with their insurance provider to determine if services are covered for reimbursement under their plan BEFORE booking services. 
  • Rampart Road to Recovery Psychological Services offers direct billing through Greenshield Canada, RBC Insurance, Empire Life and La Commission de la construction du Québec.
  • Payment methods: treatment services are covered by some insurance plans or may be paid by credit or debit (Visa/Mastercard) accounts, e-transfer or exact cash (if arrangements have been made in advance). Clients are responsible for submitting their receipts to their carriers for reimbursement of all fees incurred.
  • Receipts & statements are typically emailed at the time your payment is processed.  If you prefer a paper copy, please let your therapist know.
  • Therapy fees align with the  Psychologist's Association of Alberta's recommended fee schedule. ​
  • Fees are offered on a sliding scale for students and seniors ​
Mediation Services
  • Fees are coordinated on a case-by-case basis.  A flat rate or hourly fee schedule are available options. Specific costs for each session are listed on the booking page.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full cost of the missed session.
