Confidentiality

Confidentiality is considered a cornerstone of professional psychotherapy and mediation practices and is embedded in Rampart's core values.

Both PIPEDA and provincial legislation list a comprehensive set of rules that apply to all sectors of health care, including mental health, in order to protect the privacy of personal health information.

Rampart Road to Recovery is committed to upholding a safe, environmentally-friendly practice and is therefore, electronically stores personal information, records of all forms of communication with secure, clinic management software, JaneApp.  To learn more about how JaneApp oversees your privacy, please click here. PLEASE NOTE: By contacting the Rampart Road to Recovery,  clients acknowledge the aforementioned security measures and agree to the collection of personal information required for client care and treatment.

Cancellation Policy
  • Bookings may be rescheduled without fee penalties if the clinic is informed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.  
  • Your clinician will endeavor to contact you if you are not present for your session on time, however, regular session fees will be charged for any cancellations less than 24 hours or for "no-show" instances. 
  • Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, will be asked to rebook their session, to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment plan and respect those arriving for following sessions.
